Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is a humanitarian organization, dedicated to improving fives of vulnerable segments of the society since its inception in 1947. The core areas of the work, in line with the overall strategy of PRCS, are Disaster Management, Health Care and promotion of Humanitarian Values. In order to strengthen our team to streamline the activities of the organization, PRCS is looking for a dynamic and result oriented individual for the posts of Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General for its National Headquarters based at Islamabad.
SECRETARY GENERAL
• Masters in Social Sciences/Management/Medical Sciences from a recognized National/Foreign Institutions.
• Overall 15-18 years experience out of which 05 years as Head of Government Department/Autonomous Body/Private organization related to humanitarian work or management of injured or emergency/ Disaster Management.
• Preference will be given to individuals with experience in Rescue, Relief and Rehabilitation work.
• Candidates having experience in a humanitarian organization will be preferred.
• The post is number one position in the organization; thereby the candidate should have excellent leadership qualities enabling the organization to focus its activities in a proficient manner.
• Should possess effective skills for analysis, logical condusion/ decision making and preparing comprehensive reports and target new areas for organizational activities.
• Ability to reach out to sister organizations and coordination for large scale operation.
• Maximum upper age limit 57 years.
• Computer literate to the standard of Assessment &Analysis, MS-Office & Internet.
• Good command over statutory drafting and correspondence. Salary: Market based package will be offered, commensurate with job knowledge and experience.
ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL
• Masters in Social Sciences/Management from a recognized National/Foreign Institutions.
• Overall 10-15 years' experience out of which 05 years as Head of Government Department I Autonomous Body/Private organization related to humanitarian work or management of injured or emergency/ Disaster Management.
• Candidates having experience in a humanitarian organization will be preferred.
• Should possess effective skills for analysis, logical conclusion/decision making.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and target new areas for organizational activities.
• Having strong organizational and management capability to be able to organize national and international forums.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Maximum upper age limit 57 years.
• Computer literate to the standard of Assessments and Analysis MS-Office & Internet.
• Good command over statutory drafting and correspondence. Salary: Market based package will be offered, commensurate with job knowledge and experience.
